Six things to check before you cancel anything
1. Is your texting registered?
US carriers require business texting to be registered (A2P 10DLC). Unregistered texts are often silently blocked, so customers never see them. Ask your agency for the approved campaign status.
2. Does voicemail answer first?
If voicemail picks up before the call forwards, the system sees the call as answered and never sends the text. Call your own number from another phone and see if a text arrives.
3. Does your review link work?
Tap the link in your own review request. It should open your Google review box directly, and every customer should get the same request.
4. Who owns your domain and number?
Check that your domain and Google profile are in your name and that you can keep or move your text-back number if you leave.
5. Can you export your customer list?
Your customers' names, numbers and message history should be yours to download at any time.
6. What does your contract say?
Look for the cancellation notice period and any early-termination fee before you switch, so there are no surprises.
